Obituary

Norman C.Koslasky,74,of 1323 Fayette Ave.,Belle Vernon (Fairhope),died Thursday,June 12,1997,at 12:55 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Feb.6,1923,in Fairhope,he was the son of the late Steve and Anna Brazzon Koslasky. A lifelong resident of the Fairhope community,Mr.Koslasky was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. He was a U.S.Army veteran of Word War II. He retired in 1983 from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,where he had been employed as a pipe fitter. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a sister,Kathryn Williams. Surviving are his wife,Mary Parnella Koslasky,one son and daughter-n-law,Stephen and Lyndell Koslasky of Moon Township,one daughter,Marlene Koslasky,at home,two grandchildren,Douglas and Nicolas Koslasky,and one brother,Ernest Koslasky of Ohio. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home,followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home.
