Norman C.Koslasky;74;of 1323 Fayette Ave.;Belle Vernon (Fairhope);died Thursday;June 12;1997;at 12:55 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Feb.6;1923;in Fairhope;he was the son of the late Steve and Anna Brazzon Koslasky. A lifelong resident of the Fairhope community;Mr.Koslasky was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He was a U.S.Army veteran of Word War II. He retired in 1983 from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where he had been employed as a pipe fitter. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a sister;Kathryn Williams. Surviving are his wife;Mary Parnella Koslasky;one son and daughter-n-law;Stephen and Lyndell Koslasky of Moon Township;one daughter;Marlene Koslasky;at home;two grandchildren;Douglas and Nicolas Koslasky;and one brother;Ernest Koslasky of Ohio. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home.
