Norma J. Lender,69,of 301 South Sixth St.,West Newton,died Thursday,Feb. 14,1991,in Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Oct. 20,1921,in Monessen, a daughter of the late Raymond and Ann Yadlosky Hopton. Mrs. Lender was the owner of Norma Jean's Beauty Shop in West Newton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Newton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest William Lender. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Hunker ad Jeanine Nadar,both of West Newton; a son, Dennis Lender of Valley Center, Calif.;eight grandchildren;one great-granddaughter;and a brother, Harold Hopton of Lake Tahoe, Nev. Friends will be received at the J. William McCauley Funeral Home Inc., West Newton,Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church of West Newton on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the church with the Rev. John E. Duvall officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The J. William McCauley Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
