Obituary

Norma D. Nagy Hornbake, 80, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at 2 a.m. at her home. Born Jan. 10, 1932, in Pricedale, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Suzanne Sepashe Nagy. Mrs. Hornbake was a lifelong resident of Rostraver Township, member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, a homemaker and an Avon sales representative for over 40 years. She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Helms, of Washington Township, three sons and daughters-in-law, George and Michelle Hornbake, of Ruffs Dale, David and Susan Hornbake, of Deemston, and James and Karen Hornbake, of Washington Township, two granddaughters, Tina Nowakowski and husband, Ronald, and Heather Arment and husband, Rob, and three great-grandchildren, Ronnie Nowakowski, Joey Nowakowski and Maddie June Arment. She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Hornbake on July 13, 2007, brother, Emory Nagy, sister, Susan Indof, and a son-in-law, Alva Helms. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724) 929-6183. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Parzynski Funeral Home and Cremations with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Norma Hornbake Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
