Mrs. Nora Dell Hobbs,84,of 306 Fifth St., Charleroi,died Monday, March 26,1962 at 4:15 p.m. after a lingering illness. She was born in Fairmont,Ind. A former resident of Monessen,living on McKee Ave.,Mrs. Hobbs was a member of the First Methodist Church of Monessen and,for many years,a teacher of the Adult Woman's Bible Class of the same church. Surviving are her husband,O.T.Hobbs,and the following children;Mrs. Ruth Hobbs Lieder,at home,Harry Hobbs of Charlerio,ALfred Hobbs of Youngstown,Ohio,and Mrs. Margaret Krupka,at home;ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the H. Denver Rhome Funeral Home in Monessen after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting hours will then be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.. Funeral services will be held Thursday,March 29,at 10 a.m. from the funeral home,with the Rev. Martin Longenecker of First Methodist Church,Charleroi officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. H. Denver Rhome,funeral director.
