Nora Bell Biffle;77;formerly of 1168 Schoonmaker Ave.;Monessen;died Saturday;April 5;1975;at 6:35 p.m. in Westmoreland Manor;Greensburg. Mrs.Biffle was born in Springfield;Tenn.on June 6;1897 and had lived in this area the past 57 years. She was a member of Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;where she belonged to the Usher Board and Missionary Society and was past president of the Nurses Board. She was preceded in death by two sons;James Lester Bell and Joseph Bell. Surviving are one son;Edward Bell of Freedom;one daughter;Katherine Cunningham of Laurelton;N.Y.;one brother;Squire Barbee of Aliquippa;one sister;Gladys Rice of Springfield;Tenn;20 grandchildren;37 great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;Monessen;after 7 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;with the Rev.E.Archie officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
