Nixon (Nick) O’Neil; 65; of Coal Center R. D. #1; a retired foreman at Allenport Plant; Pittsburgh Steel Co. died at West Penn Hospital; Wednesday morning; January 23; 1963 at 1:05 a.m.
He was born in Fayette City; November 30; 1897; the son of the late James and Viola Farquhar O’Neil; and was a member of Clover Hill Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include one son; Robert; and one daughter; Mrs. Alfred (Betty) Lindsay both of Coal Center R. D. #1; two brothers James of Daisytown and Willis O’Neil of Lynnwood; two sisters; Mrs. Mildred Mitchell; Mill Run and Mrs. Genieve Davis; Chicago. Four grandchildren also survive.
Friends will be received at the Ruth Eckert Funeral Home; Roscoe; from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. beginning Thursday. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery; Belle Vernon; PA.
