Obituary

Nixon (Nick) O’Neil, 65, of Coal Center R. D. #1, a retired foreman at Allenport Plant, Pittsburgh Steel Co. died at West Penn Hospital, Wednesday morning, January 23, 1963 at 1:05 a.m. He was born in Fayette City, November 30, 1897, the son of the late James and Viola Farquhar O’Neil, and was a member of Clover Hill Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include one son, Robert, and one daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Betty) Lindsay both of Coal Center R. D. #1, two brothers James of Daisytown and Willis O’Neil of Lynnwood, two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Mitchell, Mill Run and Mrs. Genieve Davis, Chicago. Four grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Ruth Eckert Funeral Home, Roscoe, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. beginning Thursday. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA.
