May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. On Sept 3, 2025 Nino Forlini passed away at the age of 76. He was surrounded by family and passed away at home.
Nino is survived by his wife, Janet Forlini, and their three children: Nicholas Forlini and his wife Ashley, Nina Forlini and her partner Michael McDougall, and Veil Perez and his wife Camilla. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Luca Forlini, Nicholas Putila, Angelique Perez, Violette Perez, Aurora Perez, and Alita Perez.
Nino served his country in the Air Force and was in the Vietnam war. He lived in many states throughout the years and settled back in his home state of Pennsylvania, where he spent most of his childhood.
Nino had a few professions, stating "I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up". He was a mechanical draftsman (Triangle tech and California University of Pennsylvania) and a chef (Johnson).
Cooking was Nino's passion and loved seeing people smile. He believed food was love and ventured to make all he could smile.
His children joked that he adopted half of Monessen with how much care and love he showed everyone, especially their friends. Some of his adopted children include Zack and Cody Gallik, Tony Snyder, Sabatino Muro and Joseph Janosik
Your condolences will be posted here.
