She was born Aug.4;1953;in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;a daughter of the late David J.Matthews and Doris D.Code Fields Matthews. A lifelong resident of Monessen;she was a former member of the Wayman A.M.E.Church;Monessen. Survivors include her husband;Donald Jones of Pittsburgh;five brothers and two sisters-in-law;Richard and Anita LLoyd of Charleroi;Frances (Red) Matthews of Charleston;S.C.;Donnell Matthews of New York;Michael D.and Karen Wells Matthews of Monessen;and Willis E.Love of Monessen;one sister and brother-in-law;Devina Matthews and Owen Cook of Monessen;one maternal grandmother;Rose L.Code of Monessen; four aunts;Jeannette Price of Monessen;Willa Jane Newberry of Belle Vernon;Theresa (Doll) Wall of Belle Vernon and Jane Moore of Columbus;Ohio. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by two brothers;David (Mitch) LLoyd and Devin Matthews;and a grandmother;Estella Matthews. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Mt.Sinai Baptist Church;Charleroi;with Pastor Wanda L.Sawyer officiating and the Rev.Jack Howell providing the eulogy. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in chaarge of the arrangements.
