Obituary
Nick Semich,82,of 423 Victoria St.,Belle Vernon, died Sunday, May 9,1971,at 6:30 a.m. at Forbes Pavilion, Pittsburgh. He was born in Yugoslavia and retired from the Black Diamond Mine 16 years ago. He was a member of St. George's Serbian Orthodox Church in Masontown and the Washington Twp. Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred on June 18,1968. Surviving are four sons, Joseph and George ,both of Belle Vernon,Mitchell of Monessen and Ellis of Alexandria,Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Emil (Sophia) Bauer of Monessen and Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Zebula, with whom he made his home; one brother in Yugoslavia; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m. Monday. Services will be held fom the funeral home Wednesday,May 12,at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Vasilije Sokolovic in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson, funeral director.
