Nick Grabana; 86; of Belle Vernon; died Sunday; May 20; 2007; in the Washington County Health Center. A son of the late Samuel and Nellie Wozniak Grabania; he was born in Pricedale (Rostraver Township) on Dec. 18; 1920. He was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon; where he served in the choir for many years; and he also belonged to the Belle Vernon Golden Agers. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Nick retired in 1981 from the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 59 years; Evelyn Chapasko Grabana; one daughter and son-in-law; Evelyn and Dr. Dennis Davis; of McMurray; two grandchildren and their spouses; Kyra and Ryan Williams; of Bethel Park; and Mark and Jennifer Davis; of Venetia; one great-grandson; Ryan Ethan Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one sister; Mary Crampo.
