Obituary

Nicholas T. Shylock, 52, of Stockdale, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001, in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Oct. 20, 1948, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of John S. and Katherine Manos Shylock, who survive and live in Stockdale. He worked as a self-employed lapidary/silversmith, being well known for his unique jewelry and silver work. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Natalia Yacobchuk Shylock, a brother, William Rip Shylock of Dallas, Texas, a niece and nephew, Tanya and John Shylock of New Orleans, aunts, Ann of Washington, D.C., Kay of the state of California, Bernice Manos and Inez Manos, uncles, Nicholas Manos of Patuxant, Md., and Joe Shylock of Carmichaels, and many cousins. Friends will be received in the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, with the Rev. Father Igor Soroka of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
