Neville Vasko, 82, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2022 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. A daughter of the late Carlus and Donna Fike VanBremen, she was born on April 13, 1940 in Belle Vernon. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Neville was a devoted member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. She was employed up until her illness by the Lettrich Group in Charleroi as a secretary since 1969. Neville was an avid bowler for many years, enjoyed traveling with friends, and most importantly loved spending time with her family. Neville was a one-of-a-kind person who was loved by everyone. Survivors include her husband, James A. Vasko who she celebrated 59 years of marriage on July 8, 2022; her daughter and best friend Lisa Steban of Belle Vernon; six grandchildren, Rebecca, Kristina, and Tyler Steban all of Belle Vernon and Aubrey, Braedon, and Carter Simpson all of Warrenton, VA; a brother Gerald and sister-in-law Eleanor VanBremen of Rostraver; a niece, Eugenia VanBremen and husband Maxwell Lawrence of Brooklyn, NY; her lifelong friend LouAnn Lori of Belle Vernon, her special little Addy; and her furry friend, Kitty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lara Simpson in April 2021 and a son-in-law, John Steban in October 2007.
