Mrs. Nettie Trew Carnes,aged 46 years,died at 8:45 Thursday night,July 1,1943,at her home on the Monessen Highway,following a lingering illness. She had resided in this immediate section during her entire life. Surviving are her husband,Charles W. Carnes,a daughter,Mrs.Gwenivere Jones,of Dunlevy and a granddaighter,Carna Jean Jones. Other survivors are her mother,Mrs.Nancy Jane Trew,of Fayette City;five sisters.Mrs.Martha Harris,Fayette City;Mrs.Agnes Lavery,New Knnsington;Mrs.Joseph Doyle,Aliquippa;Mrs. Florence Pinksa,Detroit;Miss Myrtle Trew,Detroit;two brothers,Fred Trew,Fayette City and Abraham Trew,Camp Meade. Friends are being received at the late home. Services,Monday afternoon,July 5,at 2:30 from the Presbyterian Church,Fayette City,with the Rev.David Molynaux officaiting. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Dave H.Woodward,funeral director,in charge.
