Nellie Rosorough Nichols,328 1/2 Hill St., Belle Vernon,died Sunday, July 4,1982 at 10 p.m. at Jefferson Center Hospital. She was 65. Born in Blairsvile, Dec. 22,1916,she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Myra Baker Rosborough. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon and the King's Daughters Class at the church. Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by her husband,Edward Nichols on July 4,1962 and a brother,Harry (Lanny) Rosborough on July 21,1970. Surviving are three brothers, Warren Rosborough of Gary, Ind.,John of Saxonburg and Clifford of Laurel, Md.;three sisters, Mrs. Irene West and Mrs. Betty Williams,both of Edison, N.J. and Mrs. Marie Johnson of Belle Vernon. Friends are being received Tuesday at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Colas,pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Venron Cemetery. The Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
