Nellie Dudick Starinsky Dragan, of 13 Carter Lane, Stafford, Va.,formerly of Belle Vernon, died Saturday, Jan. 28,1995,at 3:30 a.m. in Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Va. Mrs. Dragan was born Aug. 1,1906,in Losia, Poland,a daughter of the late Andrew and Sophia Spulnick Dudick. She had been a resident of Stafford, Va., the past eight and one-half years,having previously resided in Belle Vernon. Mrs. Dragan was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon,and the St. Barbara's Altar Guild of the church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Starinsky,in 1933,and by her second husband, Wasyl,in 1966. Surviving are three daughters, Jennie Graninger of Stafford, Va.,Mrs. George (Julia) Kasich of McKees Rocks and Mrs. John (Katherine) Ryan of Viena, Va.;three stepsons, Stephen Dragan of Charleroi and John and William Dragan,both of Monessen; a stepdaughter,Mary Lacanic of Oakhurst,N.J.;10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Relatives and friends will gather Wednesday at noon in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Mary Street, Belle Vernon,for Funeral Services,with the Rev. John Kluchko,pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Parastas Service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
