aged 59;wife of Charles Carlson;
died Wednesday; January 19;1949
at 6 p.m. at her late residence;
908 Knox avenue; after a lingering illness.
She had been a resident of Monessen for 38 years and was a
member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the following orders:
Chapter 205 Eastern Star; No. 9
White Shrine of Monongahela
Valley; Dames of Malta; Protectors of Monessen and Volunteer
Fireman’s Auxiliary of Monessen.
Surviving are her husband; and
the following children; two daughters; Mrs. Gladys Russell of
Monessen; Ella and a son; William; at home and one grandchild.
Three brothers and three sisters
of Lonaconing; Md.; also survive. Friends are being received at
the H. Denver Rhome Funeral Home in Monessen until Saturday;Jan.22;1949;when services will be held at 2:00 p.m.in charge of Rev.Calvin E.Hambert. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. H.Denver Rhome;funeral director.
