Nathaniel Mosley; 88; of Monessen; went home to be with the Lord on Friday; May 7; 2004; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born in Birmingham; Ala.; on Oct. 25; 1916; he was a son of the late William and Sally Mosley. He was employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen Plant; where he worked as a crane operator until his retirement. Mr. Mosley was a very active and faithful deacon and member of Christian Life Ministries Inc.; Donora. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law; Evelyn Mosley and Burnell Robinson of Monessen and Janice Mosley Smith of McKeesport; three sons; Nathaniel Mosley Jr. of New York City; Charles Mosley of Uniontown; and Robert Mosley of Birmingham; Ala.; one sister; Erma Mosley of the state of California; 50 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren. Mr. Mosley is also survived by a wife; Emma Mosley; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. He was married to the late Evelyn Phillips-Mosley; who passed away in 1993; and to the late Earstie Mosley. He was also preceded in death by one brother; Fred Mosley; one sister; Inez Mosley-Chissom; and one daughter; Carol Mosley-Frezzell. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in Union Baptist Church; 670 McMahon Ave.; Monessen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday; May 11 at 11 a.m. in the church with the Rev.
