Naomi Sharrer Skibo of Fayette City died Wednesday;Oct.14;1987;at 10:18 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital following a short illness. She was 79. Mrs.Skibo was born Jan.23;1908;in Centerville; a daughter of the late Calvin and Minerva Hall Sharrer. She was Protestant. Survivors include her husband;Carl J.Skibo;to whom she had been married 63 years;three sons;Carl Bernard Skibo of Fayette City;James Skibo of Hilton Head;S.C.;and Charles Skibo of Roscoe;two daughters;Mrs.Robert (Priscilla) Pelissero of Monongahela and Mrs.George (Peggy) Lynn of New Stanton;14 grandchildren;11 great-grandchildren;one brother;Milton Sharrer of Fayette City R.D.1;and one sister;Mrs.Peter (Charlotte) Coates of Fayette City R.D.1. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and on Saturday;October 17;until 1 p.m.;at which time services will be held in the funeral home with Pastor James Gardner of the Peoples Bible Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
