Obituary

Naomi Sharrer Skibo of Fayette City died Wednesday,Oct.14,1987,at 10:18 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital following a short illness. She was 79. Mrs.Skibo was born Jan.23,1908,in Centerville, a daughter of the late Calvin and Minerva Hall Sharrer. She was Protestant. Survivors include her husband,Carl J.Skibo,to whom she had been married 63 years,three sons,Carl Bernard Skibo of Fayette City,James Skibo of Hilton Head,S.C.,and Charles Skibo of Roscoe,two daughters,Mrs.Robert (Priscilla) Pelissero of Monongahela and Mrs.George (Peggy) Lynn of New Stanton,14 grandchildren,11 great-grandchildren,one brother,Milton Sharrer of Fayette City R.D.1,and one sister,Mrs.Peter (Charlotte) Coates of Fayette City R.D.1. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and on Saturday,October 17,until 1 p.m.,at which time services will be held in the funeral home with Pastor James Gardner of the Peoples Bible Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
