Mrs. Jones was born in Monessen;
January 21;1904; and was educated
in Monessen schools. She
was a member of the First Methodist
Church of Monessen; the Order
of Eastern Star; Monessen
Chapter; and was a clerk for the
First Federal Savings and Loan
Company in Monessen.
She is survived by her husband;
Harold Jones; one daughter;
Mrs. Jack (Joy) Groat of
Ocean Grove; New Jersey; her
mother; Mrs. Elizabeth Crawford;
two sisters; Mrs. Russell (Henrietta)
Smith of Monessen; and
Mrs. Raymond (Miriam) Scales;
also of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen until 1 p.m.;Saturday;May 22;1954;when the remains will be moved to the First Methodist Church for services there at 2:30 o’clock. Dr.Allan J.Howes will be in charge;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer is the funeral director.
