Nancy L. Rizzuto, 84, of Monessen, passed away on Jan 12, 2026, in the company of her children. She was born on July 8, 1941, in Belle Vernon (Seldom Seen), daughter of the late Alex and Dena Dolfi Stura. Nancy was a 1959 graduate of Belmar High School. She dedicated many years of her professional life as an insurance assistant with State Farm, where she was known for her reliability and warm demeanor. Later, she joined the family jewelry business as a sales associate and played an instrumental role in updating and modernizing the Charleroi location. Following her retirement, Nancy and her beloved husband of 59 years, Frank J. “Bucky” Rizzuto, enjoyed many wonderful years traveling to their “second home” in Pompano Beach, Fla. There, they treasured time spent with friends and family. Nancy found her greatest joy in family traditions, especially cherished Sunday coffee and donut gatherings with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. “Bucky” Rizzuto; her sister, Norma Wolf; and her brothers, John and George Stura. She is survived by her son, Frank J. Rizzuto Jr. (Rebecca); her daughter, Dana Bergstedt (Dave); and grandchildren, Bella Rizzuto, Tori Bergstedt and David Bergstedt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom she held dear. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen. Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a charity Nancy supported faithfully for many years. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Hallsworth House and OSPTA Hospice Care for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Nancy. A special thank you is also extended to Joan Holets, Jenna and Sheena for their solace, kindness and comfort during this difficult time. Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, devotion to family, and the quiet grace with which she lived her life.
