Obituary

Nancy L. Briggs, 75, of Charleroi, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Born on March 8, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Betty Briggs. She was a licensed beautician and salon owner and later worked as a social worker in Fayette County. Nancy is survived by her son, Jeff (Lauren Moore) Briggs of Charleroi; grandson, Carter Briggs; daughter- in-law, Kristina Briggs of North Charleroi; brother, Ken (Nina) Briggs of North Charleroi; and cousin, Vicki Briggs of Speers. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, William “Bill” Briggs; sister, Cecelia Overbeay; and brother, Robert Briggs. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2024, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with interment following in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to assist the family.
