Mrs. Myrtle Plens, 76,of Coal Center, died in the Connnellsvile State Hospital Thursday, June 21,1962,at 3:20 a.m. She was born in Dawson,March 16,1886,the daughter of William and Belle Henderson. Her husband, Joseph Isadore Plens, died April 25,1962. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. William Peck of Coal Center and Mrs. Minnie Powell of Connellsville, 4 brothers, Orten,Raymond and Colonel Henderson of Dawson,R.D.,and Braden of Connellsville,R.D.2, 4 sisters, Mrs. Robert LLoyd,Mrs. Lorin Morton of Connellsville,Mrs. Carrie Morris of Dickerson Run and Eva Henderson of Pittsburgh.Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Caleffie-Greenlief Funeral Home,California. Services will be held Monday,June 25,at 2 p.m.,in charge of the Rev. Alex Taggart. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Calffie-Greenlief Funeral Home, California,is in charge.
