Myrtle R.Hartbarger;of 355 Parkway;Monessen;died Friday;Sept.15;1978 in Fairfield;Calif.;at the home of her daughter;where she had been visiting. A resident of Monessen for 55 years;she was employed as a seamstress for the Union Cleaning Company of Monessen for many years. Preceded in death by her husband;Ernest Hartberger;she was a member of the First Christian Church and the Senior Citizens of Monessen. Surviving are three daughters;Mrs.Cloyd (Carol) Phillippi of Monessen;Mrs.James (Bonita) Crow of Fairfield;Calif.;and Mrs.Elliott (Audrey) Crane of Loomis;Calif.;one sister;Mrs.Hy Randell of Cleveland;Ohio;17 grandchildren;and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen after 7 p.m.on Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to p.m. Monday. Services will be in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. The Rev.Richard R.Giddens from the First Christian Church will be officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Monessen Ambulance Service through the funeral home.
