Myrtle L. Hubbard; 88; peacefully went to be with her Lord and savior on Wednesday; June 23; 2010; in the Manor Care Facility in Monroeville. Born on Nov. 30. 1921; she was the daughter of the late Clarence Allen and Ida Belle Frezzell Williams. Myrtle was a resident of the Mon Valley area all of her life. Myrtle was a member of the Union Baptist Church; Monessen; where she was an active worker where ever needed; and was always a willing worker in her community. After being employed as a beautician for many years; she worked at Mercy Hospital; and later as a Drug and Alcohol counselor at Mon Valley Health Center; in Monessen; from which she retired. Myrtle was married to the late Rev. Wilbur J. Hubbard; who died in December of 2000. She is survived by two daughters; Marjorie Arlene Oliver; of Monroeville; and Sandra A. Logan; of Harrisburg; grandchildren; Earl L. Miller Jr. (LeShawn) of Monroeville; Stacey Logan-Kent (Ronald); of Harrisburg; Charla L. Johnson (David) of Williamsport; Dr. Cassandra Arlene Logan; of Bowie; Md.; great-grandchildren; Brandon L. Miller; Chandler J. Logan; Ashley J. Folkes; Logan B. Kent; Cole L. Johnson; and great-great-granchildren; Jahfi Logan and Juelz Baltimore. Visitations will be held Monday; June 28; from 5 to 9 p.m. at Union Baptist Church; 670 McMahon Ave.; Monessen; and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday; at which time funeral services will begin with the Rev. Millie Thomas officiating and Rev. Verton Dean giving the Eulogy. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WILLIAM R.
