Myrellia M.Driesen;of 102 Wilson St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;June 26;1983;at 10:30 a.m.in Allegheny General Hospital;Pittsburgh. She was 68. Mrs.Driesen was born Aug.4;1914;in Fayette City;a daughter of the late Chess and Louise Campbell Hicks. She was formerly an employee of the JC Penney Co.in Monessen and had resided in Belle Vernon the past 56 years. Mrs.Driesen was a member of the First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;the Belle Vernon Golden Agers;and the Monessen Chapter of AARP. She was preceded in death by her husband;George Driesen;on Feb.23;1972. Srviving are one daughter;Judy Avrakotos;at home;two sisters;Mrs.Wendell (Edith) Carlson of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Henry (Rhoda) Indof of Belle Vernon;R.D.4;and one grandson;Gregory Avrakotos. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Lee Dinsel;pastor;First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
