Milo Hixenbaugh,aged 22,son of Mr.and Mrs. Frank Hixenbaugh of Gibsonton,died at Camp Dix on Sunday,June 15,1919. The body arrived at the home of his parents at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning,and funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon with interment in Gibsonton Cemetery. Young Hixenbaugh was a soldier and served in overseas duty for about one year with the 33rd Engineers. He landed at Newport News on the first of June and was sent from there to Camp Dix to be mustered out of the service. While there he took ill with pneumonia. His condition became alarming on Thursday last and his parents were sent for. They immediately left for the Camp and were with their son until he died. The young man had many friends in Gibsonton who regret to learn of his death.
