Mrs.William McDowell,nee Williams,of 114 Shadyside,Pricedale,died at her home on Wednesday,October 5,1949,at 1:15 p.m. She was born August,7,1895,in Lauderdale,Mississippi and was a member of the Pleasant Green A.M.E. Church of Pricedale. She is survived by two brothers,Sam Darden of West Virginia,Darell Darden of Alabama,two sisters,Mrs.Allatta Plaines,of Colorado and Mrs.Ella Radford of Colorado,and a niece,Mrs.Willie Mae Mosley of Pricedale,with whom she made her home. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held in the Pleasant Green A.M.E.Church,Pricedale,Saturday,October 8,1949.at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev.R.H.Miles. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
