Moses Edwards;82;of 11 Grata St.;Arnold City;Belle Vernon;died at 11 a.m.Wednesday;Dec.12;1979;in Braddock Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec.8;1897;at Aiken;S.C. Mr.Edwards was a U.S.Army veteran of World War I;a retired farmer and member of First Christian Church of Wick Haven. Surviving are his widow;Loretta Ramsey Edwards;a son;Larry of Columbus;Ohio;and a daughter;Vence Childs and a sister;Joan Drapper;both of New York City. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City. Calling hours will be observed 11 a.m.to 1 pm.Monday at Wick Haven Church where services will begin at 1 p.m.;with Bishop F.M.Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
