Obituary

Mose R.Driver,65,of 1150 Thompson Ave.,Donora,died Tuesday,March 8,1977,at 10:30 p.m.in Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh,following a brief illness. Born Feb.4,1912,in Mobile,Ala.,he was a son of Henry and Nancy Washington Driver,and had resided in the Mon Valley area about 50 years. He was a retired employee of the Coke Plant at the Clairton Works of U.S.Steel Corp. Mr.Driver was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II and served overseas in the Quartermaster Corps. He was a member of the Whole Truth Church of God in Christ of Donora. Surviving are his widow,Mrs.Eva Mae Garlington Driver and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers,Fred,James,Henry,William,who died April 19,1976,and John who passed away Feb.27,1977. Friends are being received from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday,March 10,and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday,March 11 at the Whole Truth Church of God in Christ of Donora,where services will take place at 11 a.m.Saturday,March 12,with Elder Maurice Wade,pastor,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C.Draper of 608 Sixth St.,Monessen is the funeral director in charge.
