Mose R.Driver;65;of 1150 Thompson Ave.;Donora;died Tuesday;March 8;1977;at 10:30 p.m.in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh;following a brief illness. Born Feb.4;1912;in Mobile;Ala.;he was a son of Henry and Nancy Washington Driver;and had resided in the Mon Valley area about 50 years. He was a retired employee of the Coke Plant at the Clairton Works of U.S.Steel Corp. Mr.Driver was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II and served overseas in the Quartermaster Corps. He was a member of the Whole Truth Church of God in Christ of Donora. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Eva Mae Garlington Driver and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers;Fred;James;Henry;William;who died April 19;1976;and John who passed away Feb.27;1977. Friends are being received from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday;March 10;and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday;March 11 at the Whole Truth Church of God in Christ of Donora;where services will take place at 11 a.m.Saturday;March 12;with Elder Maurice Wade;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C.Draper of 608 Sixth St.;Monessen is the funeral director in charge.
