Monet Latina Crosby-Simmons; of Pittsburgh; born November 26; 2007; in Pittsburgh; departed this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday; May 6; 2008. During her short time here; she was such a joy and brought smiles to many. Monet was known to many as Pumpkin Pie or Chicken Wing . Survivors include her mother; Kimberly M. Crosby; sister; Anastasia Crosby; and father; Darrell T. Pops Simmons; all of Pittsburgh; her maternal grandparents; H. Otis and Patty Crosby; of Monessen; paternal grandparents; Darrell and April Simmons; of McKeesport; and Roxanne and Rocky Johnson; of Alta Loma; Calif.; her maternal great-grandparents; Katherine and Samuel Mason; of Monessen; paternal great-grandmother; Betty Jean Lofton; of Duquesne; and aunts; uncles and cousins. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Gate of Heaven; Church of God in Christ; 644 Reed Ave.; Monessen; where services will be held Saturday; May 10; at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
