Obituary

Millon Mickey Luce, 71, 1252 Rostraver St., Monessen, died on Wednesday, May 1,1991, at Haven Crest Nursing Home Inc., Carroll Township, following an illness of several months. He was born on May 22,1919, in Monessen, a son of the late Norman and Manila Hall Luce. Mr. Luce was a resident of Monessen all of his life. He retired from the Rod Mill Department of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company in Monessen. Mr. Luce was Methodist by faith. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Ihe Pacific Theatre of operation. Mr. Luce was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon Luce. Survivors include two sisters, Edith Luce and Claire Luce, both al home, two nephews, Norman Luce of West Chester, Ohio, and Barry Luce of Lake Mills, Wis., and one niece, Bonnie Hegedus of Chambersburg, Pa. Friends will be received on Thursday from 7 lo 9 p.m. at the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home, Grand Blvd. and Marion Ave., Monessen. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with Rev.Dr.Thomas St.Clair,pastor of First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A.Billick Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
