He was born on May 22;1919;
in Monessen; a son of the late
Norman and Manila Hall Luce.
Mr. Luce was a resident of
Monessen all of his life.
He retired from the Rod Mill
Department of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company in
Monessen.
Mr. Luce was Methodist by
faith.
He was an Army veteran of
World War II; serving in Ihe
Pacific Theatre of operation.
Mr. Luce was preceded in
death by one brother; Vernon
Luce.
Survivors include two sisters;
Edith Luce and Claire Luce;
both al home; two nephews;
Norman Luce of West Chester;
Ohio; and Barry Luce of Lake
Mills; Wis.; and one niece; Bonnie Hegedus of Chambersburg;
Pa.
Friends will be received on
Thursday from 7 lo 9 p.m. at the
Robert A. Billick Funeral Home;
Grand Blvd. and Marion Ave.;
Monessen. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with Rev.Dr.Thomas St.Clair;pastor of First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A.Billick Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
