Obituary

Milton S.Dupree,678 McMahon Ave.,Monessen,died Monday,Feb.3,1986,at 8:45 p.m. in Presbyterian hosptal,Pittsburgh. He was 44. Mr.Dupree was born in Arnold City on March 18,1941,a son of the late Milton S.and Rebecca Wilson Dupree. He was a resident of Monessen the past 16 years. He was graduated from the former Bellmar High School in 1961,where he was an outstanding football player. Mr.Dupree was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Joseph H.Ford Post 697 American Legion. He was employed at Combustion Engineering in East Monongahela. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by two sisters,Ramona Little and LaVonne Dupree. Survivors include his wife,Phyllis Cunningham Dupree,a son,Erik at home,three nieces,Marlene Little of Virginia,Kim Little of Chanute Air Force Base,Ill.,and Robin Dupree of Arnold City,and a host of aunts,uncles and other relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home,645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen,on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Mt.Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen,Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Griffin E.Mason officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
