Obituary

Milton A.Bell of Sand Bank Road,(Fairhope),Belle Vernon,died suddenly on Sunday,December 5,1976. Mr.Bell,54,was pronounced dead on arrival at Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital at 7:55 p.m. He was born in Belle Vernon on Nov.10,1922,a son of Samuel and Cora Bell,and had lived in Fairhope the past six years. He formerly resided in Perryopolis. A veteran of service in the U.S.Navy during World War II,he was a member of American Legion Post 659 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post,both of Belle Vernon,and the American Citizens Slovanic Club of Fayette City. He worked as a tinner at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Surviving are his widow,Alberta Rock Bell,two sons,Gary L.Bell of Grindstone and David N.Bell of Fayette City,one daughter,Mrs.Kenneth (Henrietta) Klancher of Belle Vernon,one sister,Mrs.Lewis (Geraldine) Zundel of Coal Center R.D.2,nd eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 7 to p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
