Millicent Alicia Sellers, 70, daughter of the late Weldon and Cora Lee Thrasher, was born on June 25, 1944, in Arnold City. After being cared for at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House at Southminster in Charlotte, N.C., for a short while, Millie left her earthly house to meet her heavenly father on Sunday, June 21, 2015.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Sam; her sister, Shirley; and three brothers, Richard, Melvin (Red), and Steve. She graduated from Belle Vernon High School in 1963 and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She raised her family in Belle Vernon but over the last 7 years spent most of her time “down south” with her two daughters and their families. Millie leaves to cherish her memory two children, Richetrina (Kevin), and Jeanette; two stepchildren, Robin and Travis; adopted son, Dominic; three sisters, Sylvia (James), Sonia, and Kathy; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many very special friends. Antioch Baptist Church is the location for the viewing on Friday, June 26, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the funeral service on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 11a.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the ELEY/McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Millie to the Levine and Dickson Hospice House at Southminster, 8919 Park Rd. Suite 100, Charlotte NC 28210.
