Miles Kratochvil of 411 Jones St.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;May 20;1985;in the Briarcliff Pavilion;North Huntington Township;following a lengthy illness. He was 68. Mt.Kratochvil was born Feb.13;1917;in Naomi;a son of the late Joseph and Ann Walsh Kratochvil. He had been employed as a millwright at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation;Allenport Plant. Mr.Kratochvil was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW;both of Belle Vernon. Survivors include his wife;Leona Dalfonso Kratochvil;one daughter;Mrs.Thomas (Rita) Zange of Augusta;Ga.;a son;Miles Dale of Arkansas;three grandchildren;David;karen and Amy Zange;and three sisters;Mildred Podwika of Charleroi;Mrs.Joseph (Ann) Volesser of West Riverside;Calif.;and Mrs.Paul (Betty) Setaro of Ontario;Calif. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.Father Edward Gearing officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
