Obituary

Mildred Salsovic Sethman, 79, of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township), died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 7:20 p.m. at her home. Born July 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Karol and Helen Salsovic. A homemaker, she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Douglas Johnson, of Belle Vernon, a son, Robert E. Sethman, of Greensburg, six grandchildren, Jennifer, Scott, Matthew, David and Brian Johnson, and Robert Sethman, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Agnes Rothbauer, of Clairton, and Mary Gamble, of Mobile, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Sethman, on Sept. 21, 2002, and one brother and sister, George Salsovic and Helen Krajnic. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). There will be no public visitation on Easter Sunday. A Prayer Service will be held Monday, April 9 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas V.F., pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Mildred Sethman on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
