Mildred R. (McFall) Rose; 82; of Belle Vernon; died Monday; Jan. 19; 2009; at her residence. Born Aug. 17; 1926; in Charleroi (Twilight Hollow); she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Melissa (Hendrickson) McFall. Mrs. Rose was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Monessen. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; William P. Rose; on Jan 10; 1995; three sisters; Nellie Basim; Grace McCorkle and Iva Steer; and a brother; Thomas McFall. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law; William E. and Mona Rose; of Carmichaels; two daughters; Mary Jane Rose and Deborah L. Rose; both of Belle Vernon; grandchildren; William D. Rose and wife Christina; Melissa E. Leoni and husband Michael; Rachelle M. Rich and Kendall Corso; great-grandchildren; Adrianna J. Leoni; and MaKenna and Maddix; a brother; Glenn McFall; of Bridgeville; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rose loved her two cats; Tawny and Snowy. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.; 1209 Grand Blvd.; Monessen. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday; Jan. 22; at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Christina A. Ingold officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
