Mildred Newman;86;of Charleroi;died Friday;May 15;2009 in her home. She was born August 8;1922 in Pittsburgh;a daughter of the late Leslie and Sarah McCall. Mrs. Newman is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law;Alice Bongiorno of Charleroi and Brenda & Ronnie Pelzer of Charleroi;eight sons and daughters-in-law;Thomas & Joyce Newman of Charleroi;Frank & Jackie Newman of North Charleroi;Tyrone & Lorraine Newman of Belle Vernon;Harry & Pamela Newman of Charleroi;Gregory & Alice Newman of Fredericktown;Leslie & Cheryl Newman of Coal Center;Brian & Cindy Newman of Fredericktown and Timothy Newman of Charleroi;several grandchildren;great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents;Mrs. Newman is preceded in death by her husband;Frank Newman;one son;Walter Newman;and one daughter;Constance Rinne;two brothers;John and Walter Allison;and one sister;Leah Doer;and three grandchildren;Cheri L.Newman;Bradley Newman and Ronnie Pelzer. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES;INC. 226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi.
