Obituary

Mildred Millie Barron, 86, of Champion, formerly of Belle Vernon (Fairhope), passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, in the Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. A daughter of the late Richard and Tina Radish Mutich, she was born Nov. 21, 1917. She was a member of Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church in Youngwood and a charter member and past treasurer of the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Barron had resided in Champion since 1964 and was formerly of Fairhope. Survivors include one daughter and son, Bernadette L. and Richard Barron, both of Champion, an adopted son, Ronald L. Toth and wife Marlene of Vestal, N.Y., two brothers, Barney Mutich and wife Ravenna of Fayette City and Louis Mutich of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard A. Barron, on Nov. 24, 1994, two sisters, Rebecca Mutich Toth and Anne Mutich, and four brothers, Guy, Charles, Nick and Mickey Mutich. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, where services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. with the Very Rev. Father Adam Yonitch Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. There will be a Pomen service in the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
