Mildred L. Bowell, 73, of 105 South Gay SL, Mt. Vernon. Ohio, formerly of Belle Vernon, died in the Rose Garden Nursing Home, Mt. Vernon, Thursday, Dec. 28,1961 at 9 a. m. She was born in Belle Vernon, May 5, 1888, the daughter of John Franklin and Margaret Hare Bowell. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Survivors are a brother, Harold K. Bowell,Mt. Vernon,Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. G.H. Zimmerman,Charleroi. Friends will be received at the Harold L. Schrock Funeral Home,Charleroi,during hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Sunday,Dec. 31,at 3 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Charles H. Zacher,pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Charleroi. Private interment will take place Monday morning in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L. Schrock,Charleroi,is the funeral director.
