Funeral services were held today for Mildred E. Dailey Coatsworth; 96; of Charleroi; in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; a Golden Rule Member Firm; www.fergusonfuneralhome.net; (724-929-5300); 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Mrs. Coatsworth died Friday; Jan. 13; 2006; in Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Sam and Bessie Lange Speer; she was born in Webster on Nov. 19; 1909. Mildred graduated from Donora High School and the former California State Teachers College and taught school in Webster in the early 1930’s. Survivors include her husband; Virgil Coatsworth; one son and daughter-in- law; Jack and Marcella Dailey; of Charlotte; N.C.; two step daughters and sons-in-law; Virginia and Raymond Stringer; of Roscoe; and Diane and Larry Bonde; of Belle Vernon; two grandchildren; Pamela Poston and husband William; and Jack R. Dailey Jr.; all of Charlotte; N.C.; two great-grandchildren; William Poston III; of New York City; and Amanda Poston; of Boston; Mass.; one niece; Carmen Schmitt; of Glenshaw; and one cousin; Henry West; of Pittsburgh. Interment was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
