Mildred E. Sabol; 81; of Monessen; died Thursday; May 6; 2004; in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. She was born July 17; 1922; in Ellsworth; a daughter of the late Frank Sabol and Anna Boldyzar Sabol. She was a 1940 graduate of Monessen High School and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She was a retired bookkeeper; having worked for Keystone Bakery in Monessen. After retiring; she worked part time at the Monessen Public Library and District Center. Mrs. Sabol was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates baseball fan; loved to work on crossword puzzles and played cards with several card clubs. She is survived by one brother; Joseph E. Sabol of Racine; Wis.; one sister; Margaret Matiansky of Las Vegas; Nev.; two nieces; Aurelie Sabol of Cleveland; Ohio; and Janet Sabol of Racine; Wis.; one nephew; Joseph Sabol Jr. of Marquette; Mich.; and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her brother; John Sabol. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC.; 441 Reed Ave.; Monessen; (724-684-8750). Services will be held Monday; May 10; beginning with a 9:30 a.m. blessing in the funeral home; followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
