Milan Joseph Veres, 97 of Charleroi died Sunday November 29, 2015, at Paramount Senior Living in Baldwin Boro. Milan was born on December 17, 1917 the son of the late Joseph and Mary Valka Veres. Mr. Veres was a Carpenter for over 50 years; he was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #84. Milan also served as a Sargent in U. S. Airforce during WW II, he was a Radio Operator Specialist, serving in England, France, Belgium and Germany. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Charleroi, were he was a Sunday School Teacher and superintendent for the church. Milan is the last of his immediate family. Survived by hischildren, David Lee Veres(Judith), Joseph Andrew Veres (Paula), Beth Marie Pansino(Larry), Dale Edward Veres (Catherine) Jean Louise Muir (Robert) and Jennifer Ann Rubin (Michael): 16 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and wife who passed on July 12, 2012 Dolores Lorain Sedlak Veres they were married on April 14, 1951, also preceded in death by sister Millie Lettrich and Mary Surovchak and brothers Paul and Edward Veres. Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 2, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p, in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 226 Fallowfield Ave. Charleroi, Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday December 3 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
