Obituary
Mike Prokop,77,of Arnold City,died Tuesday morning,October 26,1965,at 3:30 o'clock in Brownsville General Hospital after a long illness. Mr.Prokop was born in Poland in December,1887, A retired coal miner,he was a member of Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City. Surviving are a daughter,Mrs.Sophia Gohosky,Arnold City;three brothers,Carl Prokop on Poland,Andrew and John in Winnipeg,Can.;two sisters,Mrs.Nellie Kozak and Mrs.Mary Kalpecki in Winnipeg,and two grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where Prayers will be said Saturday,Oct.30 at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem Mass at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City. The Rev.William Gavron,pastor,will officiate. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory,funeral director.
