Obituary

Mike Krolik,71,of 110 Nagy Ave.,Arnold City,died Wednesday,Aug.21,1996,at 10:40 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Aug.17,1925,in Naomi,he was the son of the late George and Barbara Stelehanich Krolik. A lifelong resident of the Arnold City community,Mr.Kolik was Catholic by faith. He was retired from the automatics department of Corning Glass,Charleroi. A U.S.Navy veteran of World War II,he was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. He was also a member of the Naomi Athletic Club,Fayette City American Legion Club,Russian Club of Charleroi and the American Citizens Society of North Charleroi. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by two brothers,Charles and George Krolik,and two sisters,Elizabeth Moskal and Anna Andrews. Surviving are his wife,Joan Wozniak Anderson Krolik,two stepsons,Charles Anderson of Arnold City and John J.Anderson of Coal Center,a stepdaughter,Mrs.Zane (Charlene) Deneen of Glendale,Ariz.,three brothers,John Krolik of New Stanton and Samuel and Andrew Krolik,both of Belle Vernon,and five step-grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A blessing service will be held Saturday at noon in the funeral home,followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will conduct services in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Friday. Arrangements are being handled by the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home.
