Obituary

Mike Comadena, 96, of North Belle Vernon, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at 8:40 a.m. at Dunlevy Gardens Nursing Home, Dunlevy. Born June 21, 1915, in Rillton, he was the son of the late Steve and Mary Semich Comadena. Mr. Comadena was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant, with 35 years of service in the hot mill and billet yard. He was a member of the REAP Bowling League. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Paul Vinsick, of Strongsville, Ohio, grandson, Paul Michael Vinsick, of Placentia, Calif., granddaughter, Renee Vinsick, of Edison, N.J., three great-grandchildren, Rachel Kathleen Benyola, of Philadelphia, Paul Michael Vinsick and Megan Ashley Vinsick, both of the state of California, three brothers and sister-in-law, Nick and Carrie Comadena, of Utah, Milton Comadena, of Belle Vernon, and George Comadena, of Charleroi, sister-in-law, Anna Comadena, of Fayette City, and a sister, Anna Mae Komadina, of Las Vegas, Nev. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ambrose Comadena, (Feb. 16, 2011), and three brothers, Louis, Pete and Paul Comadena. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183. Services will be held on Thursday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. with Elder James Abbott of Church Of Jesus Christ, Roscoe, officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
