Michelle Lynn Moskala (Shelli), of Washington Twp., lost her brief battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, May 24, 2018. She was born at Monongahela Hospital on March 2, 1968. The daughter of Barbara Toth Moskala of Washington Twp. and Larry Moskala of Uniontown, Michelle resided with her son, Hunter, in Washington Twp. Michelle devoted her entire adult life in the field of emergency medicine having graduated from Penn State Fayette as a Paramedic in 1989. She began her EMS career in the footsteps of her Mother as a volunteer EMT at the former Community Ambulance Service in 1986. She was a volunteer firefighter with Washington Twp. Fire Company for many years. She also graduated from the Phlebotomy Training Center in Pittsburgh in 1989. Michelle was a full time employee at Med Express in Belle Vernon and a Paramedic with Fayette Emergency Medical Service in Connellsville until her illness. She is survived by her son, Hunter Battistone, her mother and father, and a half brother, Todd Moskala. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Melvin and Betty Toth and Dorothy and Edward Moskala.
