Michael Zolynak;78;of Belle Vernon;R.D.2;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;Thursday;May 25;1950;at 3:55 a.m.;after an illness of one week. He was born in Slovakia;September 18;1872;and had been a resident of Belle Vernon for thirty-six years. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Elizabeth Zolyak;four sons;Edward;Michael Jr.;Andrew and Thomas of Belle Vernon;three daughters;Mrs.John Hozeulick of Donora;Mrs.John Hreno of Webster and Mrs.Michael Swinntek of Fellsburg;one brother;Metro Zolyak of Lorain;Ohio;and twenty grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Brief services will be held there Saturday;May 27;1950;at 9 a.m.;followed by Requiem High Mass at 10 o’clock in St.Michael’s Greek Rite Catholic Church;Donora. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. R.R.Schwerha is the funeral director.
