Michael Zolock Jr.;1450 Broad Ave.;Rostraver Twp.;died Thursday;Dec.26;1985;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 71. Mr.Zolock was born in Rostraver Twp.;on Sept.27;1914;a son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Dorchak Zolock. A life-long resident of Rostraver Twp.;he was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon;where he served as an usher for many years. He retired in 1975 from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.Monessen plant;where he was a rigger foreman. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;Thomas;and a sister;Anna Hreno. Survivors include his wife;Helen C.Manack Zolock;three sons;Stephen Zolock of Rostraver Twp.;Michael Zolock of Longmont;Colo.;and Dr.Major David Zolock;stationed with the 10th Medical Lab in Germany;two daughters;Mrs.Paul (Barbara) O’Hara Jr of Roscoe and Mrs.Earl (Helen) Sadler of Charleroi;two brothers;Edward and Andrew;both of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.Michael (Elizabeth) Swaintek of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Marie Hozduhck of Cedar Hill;Tex.;and 12 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
