Michael Tolkach; 95; of Roscoe; formerly of Charleroi; died Sunday Aug. 29; 2010; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born in Mt. Morris; on Oct. 21; 1914; a son of the late Michael and Stella Skeba Tolkach. Michael was a member of the Board of Directors of Charleroi Federal Savings Bank; and prior to retirement was self-employed as the owner of the former Charleroi Foodland Supermarket. Surviving are two sons; Edward Tolkach; of Houston; Texas; and Dennis Tolkach of Dunlevy; two grandchildren; Heather Farrell and Michael Tolkach; and two brothers; John Talkash; of Roscoe; and Charles Talkash; of Erie. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Evelyn Tolkach; and six brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation; and private interment will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME; Charleroi.
